"No quería ir a Barcelona,  porque me habían dicho que se hablaba más catalán que castellano. Es verdad que el catalán está presente en la calle y en algunas cadenas de televisión. Pero nunca tuve problemas, al contrario. Estoy contento de mi experiencia. Nunca olvidaré las 4 semanas que he estado en vuestra escuela. Gracias por vuestra amabilidad, paciencia y dedicación. Y gracias por la familia (a 5 minutos de la escuela!) que me encontrastéis."

"I took Spanish classes at Barna-House during one month, for four hours a day, and five days a week, and I can honestly say that never before have I learned so much in such a short amount of time.  I have taken Spanish classes before, in high school and university, for a total of approximately three years intermittently.  However, I did not truly learn, in those previous lessons, half of what I just learned at Barnahouse in five weeks. The strongest asset I found in the school was the quality of the teachers. Both of my teachers were focused, devoted, clear, and balanced in their methods of teaching."

"I took a three week course last March 2006. I enjoyed going to class, a good mixture of thorough instruction, written practice, and fun and interesting conversation.  The facilities in the school are generously equipped, the atmosphere is muy tranquilo, and the people were amiable and helpful.  I had a wonderful experience at Centro de estudios de espanol and I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone. I think this was in part due to the classroom size, as there were only four people in my class. Only problem, my stay was too short. I've made up my mind to enroll for another course in July."
