How to get to the school

The school is located right in the centre of Barcelona, only 2 blocks from Passeig de Gracia Avenue and famous La Pedrera created by Antonio Gaudi.

The nearest metro stations are Diagonal L3 green line and Verdaguer L5 blue line. There are numerous buses that stop at Passeig de Gracia or Diagonal as well. For exampe: 22, 28, 33, 34 etc. 

If you arrive to the airport of Barcelona - El Prat - there are mainly 3 options to get to the centre of Barcelona where our school is located:

1. By taxi:

You can get a taxi right outside the terminal building. The trip will cost you 20-25 euros (there is a surcharge of 1 Euro per each bag of luggage) and will take about 25-30 minutes depending on the traffic.

This is of course one of the most expensive options, however you can share the expenses with your friends if you are coming to Barcelona to study Spanish altogether.

2. By bus:

There is a shuttle bus ¨AEROBUS¨ that goes directly from El Prat airport to the centre of the city. Aerobus leaves every 5-10 min. from/to Terminal 1 and every 10-20 min. from/to Terminal 2, every day of the year and you can get on the bus right outside the terminal buildings in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The journey will take 35 min. approximately.

Single ticket will cost you 5.30 euros and return one - 9.15 euros. You can buy tickets at the airport terminal (both cash and credit/debit cards) or right from bus driver (cash only)

Get off at Plaça Catalunya (main city square and the final stop of the trip) and then you can either go on foot (10 minutes) or take a metro at Plaça Catalunya stop and get off at Passeig de Gracia stop which is within 5 min. walk from the school.

3. By train
There is an excellent train connection between Barcelona airport and city centre.
The RENFE train service runs approximately every 30 mins to and from Barcelona airpor. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes.

You can catch the train from Clot, Passeig de Gracia, or Barcelona Sants (otherwise known as Sants Estacio) station.

If travelling from the airport to the city centre you can get off at Passeig de Gracia and from there get to the school on foot (5 min.)

The train to Barcelona airport is cheap but can be a longer journey becuase the train only leaves twice an hour and only goes to T2 terminal. If you are going to T1, you must take a free shuttle bus to the T2 terminal.

The Aeroport station is in the ticket system (zone 1) of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area so you can also use a normal metro travel card which costs 1.45 or one clip on a TMB travel card.
